You get to pay one mana to put a creature into play and give it haste, but you do have to sacrifice that creature at the end of the turn
The card doesnt win games by itself, but eliminating it makes some of the most dominant aggro decks a little weaker, and hopefully provides some breathing room for other strategies to rise
