Mirrodin didn't have many typal cards, but it did do two things that provided a huge boon for typal decks

Depending on how youve built the deck, you might also get mileage out of: Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord & Bonehoard combo Birthing Pod, Jarads Orders, and Pattern of Rebirth for creature tutoring Force of Vigor as a way to interact without taking a turn off to transmute Agent of Erebos to remove opposing graveyards Solemn Simulacrum or Disciple of Bolas for sheer consistency The opportunities to use this package for your strategy are near limitless, and whilst I think the card is a slamdunk in Meren, its also great in Orzhov aristocrats decks, and probably in other builds like Grixis Spellslinger too
