Trail of Evidence is steady, cost-efficient, and deceptively powerful, and more than almost any other Investigate card, it eloquently captures what makes Investigate so satisfying

Basically, we're okay with a few cards that put +1/+1 counters on creatures but we tend to avoid more complicated versions (such as 0/0 creatures that come into play with +1/+1 counters) at common, although we're more willing to do something like that if there are a number of cards dedicated to a certain theme ( Darksteel 's modular, I'm looking at you)
I would mulligan aggressively for fast, resilient hands that can cast a Turn 2 Etched Champion
(ancestral is my other handle.) I was looking for a 300 dpi source, and was happy to see ahkren had been working on HQ Cardgen, and had everything I needed
Mana Crypt (Kaladesh Inventions Series) The most valuable Magic card not on the Reserved List, Mana Crypt is valuable for similar reasons as Mana Vault and Sol Ring: it can easily add a lot of extra mana to the mana pool and enable some explosive early plays in a game
