Mostly I prefer more threats to late game tutors but I would much much rather play this than a weak or off theme card

It's a temporary creature for sure, but sticks around for long enough and meaningfully buffs your board several times

Verdant Suns Avatar seems like a sideboard card at best and is honestly one of my least favorite dinosaurs in the set
