C Common Magikey Unlocking X TRAP Counter When your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card while you control a "Magikey" Ritual Monster or a "Magikey" monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: Negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card, then you can declare 1 Attribute, and if you do that, for the rest of this turn all face-up monsters your opponent controls become that Attribute
The other thing I like about this card is that it helps solve a larger problem we've been having
That's an interesting go wide payoff, and you can move around the bonus if a new creature enters (or if you flicker stuff) Someone out there was asking for the white death's shadow I'm sure Also dumping your hand with this seems strong
These proactive bans show a clear desire to slow the format down and promote more interactive, back-and-forth games of Magic
However, if the cards front feels completely smooth, thats a clear red flag
While this hasn't affected the power level concretely, it has given Wizard's designers more room to play with theme and storytelling through cards and mechanics
