Meanwhile, Pelakka Predation shows off one of the often missed aspects of MDFCs that I really love: since they come attached to lands, MDFCs allow you to sneak in effects that you otherwise wouldn't normally play in a Commander deck (in this case, a Thoughtseize-style targeted discard spell)
I would even look at wall of Vines and Taproot Kami as they have the added bonus of being one drop walls
