The porcelain is eggshell like translucent and somewhat brittle. The cup is hand decorated with Japanese elders or wise men and finished in green. There are a few tiny defects a tiny edge chip to the saucer, wear to the mans face at the left on the saucer and a short tight hairline to the cup, all quite minor (see photos).
