On the note of budget, each wildcard costs the same and is earned the same way in their given rarities, thus, if you spend a wildcard on a super expensive common or mythic, you can play with cards that would cost a fortune IRL
You can wait till your post combat main to cast your spells and avoid transforming if for some reason you just want a decent source of extort
Functionally, they are nearly identical to the true fetch lands mentioned above
I dont personally consider it to be that, but some players might not like that you can cheat it into play with Magda, Brazen Outlaw and instantly win so be sure to check beforehand
