This particular sign is most likely the centre part of a bronze framed roundel that would have been installed on a platform (see last photo which shows a typical installation). Quite a lot of these roundels were scrapped when they were removed during reconstruction and or extension works, so it's good to save at least one. The Wembley Park underground
