Foxwhelp Size:MM106 A Devon variety also plantedA mild bittersharp cider apple. Medium to large yellow fruit, flushed crimson in the sun. Flesh yellow, sometimes tinted red. Pleasant, clean flavour. Ripens in October. First mentioned by Evelyn in his 1664 Pomona along with Redstreak as being held in the highest esteem.
