We were so impressed with the fruit and the winemaking style that in 2018 it was decided to make it again and include it as a regular in our wine line up

2016 Coal Valley Vineyard Chardonnay apple and melon characters complementedThis Chardonnay is made from grapes grown in the Old Block, planted in 1991. The grapes were cooled after harvest and then pressed straight to barrel for fermentation. The wine is bright and clear with an inviting green straw colour. Fresh citrus, apple and melon characters complemented with a layer of oak after 8 months in French Barrels.
