2022 Cantina Berritta – Nostranu – Cannonau di Sardegna – DOC Vermentino Sciara's highest amphora site atNostranu is a wine that represents the sunny landscapes and rich wine making history of Sardinia. It's made from 100% Cannonau grapes that are grown on vines around 20 years old, at an altitude of 180 meters above sea level in soil that is permeable from weathered granite. In early September, the grapes are harvested by hand, placing each cluster carefully in boxes. The grapes from the youngest vines are then destemmed and placed in steel vats.
