To get this going, you need a sacrifice outlet that produces colored mana, like Phyrexian Altar, and some sort of enabler, like Gravecrawler

As long as you keep putting the +1/+1 counters on Herd Baloth, you can make an infinite number of 4/4 beasts and have an infinitely big Herd Baloth

The emblem seems better in EDH than standard although its pretty scary to have that emblem on you, especially if they throw another Ob out and start drawing a ton of cards every turn

Luckily, this deck also has several solid options earlier in the game to help you come out of the gate firing
