Early 19th century Georgian elm carver or open armchair. Shelves no loose joints and extremelyEarly 1800s, or earlier, mostly elm, Georgian open armchair or carver with lift out rush seat. Generously proportioned, wonderfully shaped arms, with a well figured grain, good colour and patina. Excellent condition, just the expected age related wear and tear. Sturdy joints, no movement. Seat has lost a couple of lengths of rush but still good and useable, although probably best to use a cushion for protection. Probably later (but still old) blocks
