I personally like these for salmon fishing as the light weight and good drag work well with the small salmon rods I like to use on the Gaspe and in Nova Scotia

The ribbed brass foot is unmolested. The spool spindle fit is excellent. The tensioner works perfectly. There is no evidence of repair or any un original parts. This reel would be a serious upgrade on many shelves of Hardy reel collectors worldwide.
