While it's not great as a Rogue Tribal commander since 1) it doesn't really support Rogue Tribal 2) its "roguejutsu" requires Zareth to be in your hand, not command zone, Zareth is still a great card in the 99 of Anowon, the Ruin Thief since his combat trigger is absolutely brutal, basically a more flexible Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni trigger
Conversely, the Rootgrazer can tap to return a basic land to the hand, allowing the player to use the same land for multiple Landfall triggers

Token and copy effects like Mirrorworks, Birthing Boughs, and Saheelis Artistry multiply your threatsand your destruction
In the early game, you're necessarily going to be discarding cards until you reach the no-cards-in-hand state, so cards that either take advantage of discard effects or can be played from the graveyard are both primo
