***UPDATE (March 5, 2021)*** Peter Adkinson (Founder and First CEO of Wizards of the Coast) made a post today on his Facebook page CONFIRMING that the Alpha print run for Magic: The Gathering was 26,000 60-card starter decks and 70,000 15-card boosters, which would equate to 2.61 million cards. Peter went on to say that this means there were about 1,008 Alpha Black Lotus cards printed
