At the start of the Battle Phase, the cotnroller can use the detach effect of Number 26: Spaceway Octobypass, which only allows the turn player to attack with one monster that Battle Phase, while turning said attack into a direct attack
Also, some of the most successful decks in recent tournaments use Greninja alongside a mix of other powerful cards in the game, such as Pokemon TCG Pocket 's Giratina Ex, Oricorio, and Snorlax, making for some deadly strategies that are further enhanced by the passive damage Greninja brings to the board
Skaab Ruinator isn't a bad card as we're certainly likely to have cards in the graveyard due to manifest dread, but we're not likely to have that many early on, risking Skaab Ruinator being a dead card if it's drawn in your opening hand

Between my options of Mathas, Fiend Seeker and Licia, Sanguine Tribune I saw more inspiration in Licia as something I havent seen yet in Mardu and I think should be on peoples radar
