Hardy Perfect 3 1/2" Wide Drum Fly Reel 1-Piece The varnish on the wrapsFor sale here is a 3 1 2" Hardy Perfect wide drum fly reel from the pre WWII era (made in the late 1920s), complete with rotating nickel silver line guard. The reel is in excellent overall condition. The brass reel foot is either a replacement or it has been very neatly trimmed to accommodate modern reel seats. No chips, cracks, or line grooves. Excellent spool spindle fit. The spool screw shows a bit of buggering. The winding plate was professionally
