The apron is in an olive green silk which contrasts beautifully with the colourful silk embroidery and would have been worn with a decorative blouse and skirt as part of the traditional costume if the region. The apron has been smocked and is gathered into a decorative waistband and fastens with red cotton toes at the back. These
