It comes with a black plastic carry case that fits down and clips in place on the top of the typewriter providing you with a handle

This one types well and is in a good condition with just a few light marks on the hard plastic body

The underside of this "Universal "  spool that looks like a star fits down over the vertical prong that holds the spools in your typewriter with the small vertical spike fitting into one of the cutouts of the star on the spool thereby making the spool turn when you type

Typewriter ribbons came in tins from the 1920's right up until the 1960's and these tins are becoming very collectable as they are a wonderful showcase of font styles , branding and advertising from the past. Great for storage of small items or just as display items . They all have signs of wear and age signs as is to be expected but this just adds to their vintage appeal.
