The rose was hard to photograph to capture all the detail

Lady takes the stage. Australian original art prints. Size:Artmount 12" x 16" I was asked to create"Lady Takes the Stage" is an image seen in a piece of split fire wood. The colours and textures formed the character. If you look closely the two halves of the split fire wood, where the black hair is, on Lady takes the stage, is actually a recess in shadow which becomes the fur on the hood of the eskimos coat. All that was needed to create the artwork, was some highlights to outline the shoes, scarf, handbag and sun glasses. The bulge in the split
