This is a good enabler for graveyard decks and Town decks, and it helps all decks hit their land drops
This deck has everything you need for a competitive Commander deck, with brute force damage, plenty of card draw potential, some decent ramp and card cost reduction, as well as plenty of diversity amongst the creatures to always keep your opponents on their toes
Note that this is a cast trigger, so you'll draw before it resolves
Out of all the things this deck taught us, it was that Haven of the Spirit Dragon could backdoor into some Eldrazi shenanigans
