Give it support if you want it to be upright, or allow it to meander amongst its neighbors. From summer through early fall, individual blooms open violet blue, then get pale lilac centers, and finally fade to a soft blue. Group 3 Flowers only on new wood. Can be cut to the ground in fall or spring. Cut stems 12 18 inches from the soil, just above a growth node or new shoot. Mature size: 3 6 feet tall & wide
