The portrait, titled "Ichikawa Danjr V in a Shibaraku Performance," depicts the immensely popular Kabuki actor and is a re carved edition from the Shwa era (19701980), originally printed in the 18th century. It is signed "Shunk ga" in the upper left of the image. This superb re carved edition was published by Takamizawa, with the publisher's seal on the verso. It is a high quality print.
