SPLINTER Armchair Wood Finish:Japanese Oak - Black Part of the Belmont StorageThe industrial design studio Nendo of Tokyo and Milan, metaphorically splintered each piece of the wood arm frame, by the bold use of bent and laminated technology. The elegantly detailed finger joint intersection of the curved back, cross sections, peel away, while ingeniously forming pliable, graceful off shoots of pure sculpture. The result: light footed furniture with a soft, particularly smooth surface and a true masterpiece of woodwork.
