Clay Basics: Combo Wheel & Hand Handbuilding and her championing of MexicanThis 8 week intro class will cover the basics of both hand building and wheel throwing. Focusing on beginner projects, students will be led through the basics of handbuilding techniques (pinch, coil, slab) and will gain a familiarity with wheel throwing (centering, pulling a wall, and basic forms cup, bowl, plate). We will also cover some surface design basics and how to finish your pieces with glazing. This class is geared toward complete beginners
