A round to slightly conical fruit

Brown Snout Size:MM106 turning softer and more juicyA late bittersweet cider apple. Small, conical fruit with yellow green skin, rarely flushed with diffuse pinkish orange. Flesh sweet with soft tannins and slight astringency. Useful for low lying areas or frost pockets due to its late flowering habit. A Herefordshire variety said to have originated on a farm at Yarkhill in the 19th century. Since been widely distributed in the West Midlands by Bulmers.
