16th Century Woven wool Panel persian box achieved using multiple differently coloredA rare panel Hand woven in natural green dyed wools Depicting urns with shaped flowering stems and curled flower head , flanked on either side by bird like creatures Most likely Italian Dating from late 16th early 17th century Circa 1600 This very rare fragment is approx four hundred years old and of course shows appropriate wear commensurate with this great age. on an un dyed natural linen The olive green wool has slightly faded with surface rubbing
