The various cards that require you to return lands allow you to get three mana out of two lands when you are not making your normal land drops and the drawback becomes an aid while suffering the screw

Do a little searching and Michelangelo, Weirdness to 11 is Hardened Scales in the command zone, which works with nearly 1,000 cards in green

Theres the limitation of getting at least a creature on the battlefield so you can proliferate

At this stage, I also like to do a preliminary digital color blocking, to make sure I have the color and value tangents worked out, and also to show my art director at WotC so they are on the same page as I am (no one likes surprises in the later stages of a commissioned art piece)

It reminds me a lot of Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer in that both cards seem to be the absolute peak of what you could expect for their respective mana costs
