I do believe this to be a perfectly fine strategy, particularly if you open a very powerful multicolored card, or if you receive some signals that a particular combination might be underdrafted
Given that it is likely to become a target the moment it hits the field, this card is best suited to facilitating a turn or twos worth of explosive plays
The calamity of Sin is endless and the cycle keeps repeating, because when Sin is defeated by the summoner, the summoners guardian becomes the new Sin
The main issue here is that you do need to spend the mana in combat, unless you have a way to keep it for later
